In 2004, the National Collaborating Centres for Public Health were created by the Government of Canada to promote and support the use of knowledge and evidence by public health practitioners across Canada. You can learn more about the NCCPH program by visiting the site below.

NCC Leads Secretariat
The NCCDH hosts the office of the National Collaborating Centres for Public Health Leads Secretariat. The Leads Secretariat facilitates collaboration between the NCCs and is heavily involved in such collaborative projects as the Summer Institute and the NCCPH Communications Strategy. The Leads Secretariat is the single point of contact for the NCCs and PHAC and is the external contact person for the NCCPH's partners and interested parties though the NCCPH website, the NCCPH toll-free number as well as through direct mail.
